Welcome to Skinz Binz your trusted skip bin for hire service. By booking and using our skip bins, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

 

Hire Period

• Standard hire is for 7 days, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• Additional charges may apply for extended hire periods - extensions are 3 days or 7 days.

 

 

Delivery and Pick-Up

• Skip bins will be delivered and collected at the agreed location and time.

• If access is not available or obstructed, additional fees may apply for redelivery or waiting time.

• It is your responsibility to ensure the site is suitable for placement of the bin.

 

 

Waste Restrictions

Strictly prohibited items include, but are not limited to:

• Asbestos or fibro sheeting

• Hazardous waste (e.g., paints, chemicals, oils)

• Tyres or batteries

• Liquids or food waste

• Gas bottles

• Medical or biological waste

 

If any prohibited items are found, you will be liable for removal, disposal, and environmental fines.

 

 

Loading the Bin

• Do not overfill the bin above the rim. Overfilled bins will not be collected.

• Do not move the bin from its original drop-off location.

• You are responsible for the contents of the bin during the hire period.

 

 

Council Permits

• If the skip bin is to be placed on public property (e.g., footpath or road), a council permit may be required.

• It is your responsibility to obtain and pay for any required permits. Contact Douglas Shire Council for more details.

 

 

Liability

• You are liable for any damage caused to the bin while in your possession.

• We are not liable for damage to driveways, lawns, or underground services during delivery or pickup.

• Use of our service is at your own risk.

 

 

Payment Terms

• Full payment is required upon booking unless otherwise arranged.

• Additional charges (e.g., overfilling, extra days, prohibited items) will be invoiced separately.

• Late payments may incur interest or recovery costs.

 

 

Cancellation and Refunds

• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to scheduled delivery for a full refund.

• No refunds will be provided for cancellations made after delivery.

 

 

Termination of Service

We reserve the right to refuse service or remove the bin immediately if these terms are breached.

 

 

 

Privacy

We collect and store your personal information to manage bookings and provide services. We do not sell or share your data with third parties without consent, except where required by law.

 

 

 

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be handled in the jurisdiction of Queensland courts.
